We're on DIY Bride!

We were thrilled when Becca at Modern Vintage called and asked if we'd like to be a part of a style shoot that she was doing with a Southwest/Navajo theme... and even more thrilled to see the photos from Sarah Frenzel (at Frenzel Studios). So, to have it be featured on DIY Bride was just icing on the cake. Enjoy a little sneak peek of the paper here and check out the feature here... don't you love the shaped place cards in succulents!

Satin & Tulle

Today's post is for the dreamy, romantic soul. One of the many looks at the Cedarwood Style Show this year was the Satin and Tulle - oh so soft and beautiful. We designed a fitting invitation suite, placecards, etc. and think it's just the sweetest. So much love for the photos by Jenna Henderson! Check out all the dreamy details here!

2014 Stamps of Nature

Each year, the post office issues new stamps for a variety of reasons - to commemorate events, places, people and then other designs including weddings and nature. This year, if you're looking for something a little different for your wedding stationery (or just social correspondence), here's a few new ideas. The hummingbird is THE postcard stamp of the year. It's 34 cents, which works great if you are doing RSVP postcards.
Next up are the forever stamps - a fresh look, I think, from the wedding roses. The ferns would look amazing on kraft/dark envelopes.

Last, the new butterfly stamp is for the mail that's gone over the 1 ounce, either by weight or bulk. From experience, it looks awesome on gray envelopes!

Colors - Boho Style!

Hooray it's the first day of Spring! Surely that means that soon we will have more sunny, warm days! In celebration of the first day of spring, we've got colors abounding in a boho vintage style shoot we just did for the Cedarwood Style Show. It's one of the many looks we did for the show that you'll be seeing along the way! Don't you just love the gold foil amidst the bright colors! Enjoy the day and check out all the fab photos that Ace Photography took and most certainly check out everything else on Cedarwood's blog!

Dr. Who Inspired Wedding

So, if you happen to love Dr. Who, today's wedding will rock. If you love awesome design but don't even know who Dr. Who is, today's wedding is still going to rock. Jennifer and Marco had an intimate wedding in January and when Dawn of Premier W.E.D. called to discuss the design, we knew it was going to be just AMAZING. We went to work on figuring out some cool details to include on the paper goods and found the graphic language (Gallifreyan)had the ability to create a logo for J&M, so away we went! (hint: the inner circle of the invitation has their names and wedding date). Don't you just LOVE the gold foil! Since bow ties are a big part of the fashion, Dawn asked if we could create bow tie placecards... tying the theme together just wonderfully! Check out all the details with the fab images by Abigail Bobo! You're gonna love it!

Alexis & Adam

Friday! It's here again! We're working away on such amazing paper goods for this year's weddings that it's just beyond exciting here in the studio! From letterpress, thermography, metallic foil, white ink, lots of cool fonts and graphic elements... it's going to be a very awesome 2014! (We are beyond grateful to all our clients who put their vision and trust in us!) So, for today, it's Alexis and Adam's Cedarwood wedding on the blog! We did some dramatic paper goods for this one (don't you love the white ink on the dark papers!) - and we think you'll love them! It's the last day of February (YAY! we're so ready for SPRING!) so a perfectly great way to bid the month adieu with the fab photos from Ace Photography. ENJOY!
