Wow - it's hard to believe that it's the end of June and the last post was in April! It's always a busy time between March and mid-June for us and this year's no different... If you want to keep up with what we're doing, follow us on Instagram (instgram.com/designsinpaper or @designsinpaper) since we post a photo pretty much every day there! We we were thrilled to see a spring inspiration shoot featured on the main page of Style Me Pretty in May... and here's some of the awesome shots from it - captured perfectly by Julie Paisley Photography and styling done by the fab team of Historic Cedarwood. Enjoy - and we'll see you back soon - or on Instagram daily!
It's almost mid-April, which means we're well into 2016 wedding invitation design and production. One trend that continues to remain strong in the industry is metallics - and especially copper this year. It pairs easily with a variety of colors to set the mood for your big day effortlessly - whether it be with black, dusty blue or blush and burgundy - it's definitely a headturning combo. Here's a few of our favorite copper elements we've done in the past months. ENJOY!
It's hard to believe that it's almost the end of March. March is that month that's very dynamic - from weather, life events and just general change in the world around me. Honestly, it has history of being THE big event month for me. LOTS of Big (wait, huge) things all have happened in March. Some have been great, some have been bad/sad/bittersweet, but they all have been BIG and life-changing. In the world of paper goods, it tends to be a really busy month - and this year's been no exception. So, in celebration of Spring, Easter and the dynamic March that is, here's some fabulousness featured on Wedding Chicks of the cutest speckled eggs, a bunny named Butterfinger and some really awesome watercolor paper goods... with the amazing styling of Firefly Events Nashville and captured perfectly by the uber-talented Jenna Henderson.
Hello, hello! We've not dropped off the planet, been abducted by aliens or anything quite that exciting... just very busy with some January and February weddings as well as winter events and lots of April weddings! So, while the printers are working away, I thought I'd do a quick post on a style shoot featured on Ruffled for Valentines. With brillant red and classic flowers, we created some romantic paper goods for this fabulous day at Historic Cedarwood - perfectly captured by Amilia Photography. Enjoy all the paper goods - and feel the love!
Just like an early Christmas present, we love opening Style Me Pretty's main page to find our paper goods featured with Historic Cedarwood and Julie Paisley Photography last week! We had a blast working with this creative team (and so many others as well) to create a celebration style shoot you're gonna love. From the custom envelope liner to fun placecards and our love of white ink on black cardstock --- it's all there! Enjoy the paper goods and then check out the full feature on Style Me Pretty!
It's almost feeling like winter again here in Nashville and we had the pleasure of being featured on three major wedding blogs last week - so it's time to share some of the loveliness! Today, it's a cozy winter shoot at Historic Cedarwood with White Rabbit Studios. We love the texture elements of this shoot - we did the cutest save the date with hand-macrame, copper foil on all the paper goods and some fabulous copper metal menus. Check out the fab details and then head over to 100 Layer Cake for all the gorgeousness!
