It's AOK to start the week! (Real Wedding)

We were so excited waiting to see these photos since we had had such a great time with Alexis and Kyle - and knew that their big day was going to be full of fabulous details! We had the very best time getting to know them and working on their invitations to wow their guests as they arrived in the mailbox and then for other special touches to make their day 'A O K', since that's their monogram! You have to go check out all the photos over on Cedarwood's blog since there are some of the coolest, sweetest and one of the best kids and dog (Lulu) photo I've seen in a long time! Thanks to Kate Underwood and Joshua Gull for some amazing shots! Enjoy all the details of their big day! Yes, we do large banners!
Custom flower seed packets for their guests to plant...
Sweet bunting that's paper and burlap (love!)

Delicious Wedding Favors... Gianna and Josh

One of the things every bride and groom should think of when planning their wedding is what makes 'them' them. When we met Gianna, they were planning a friend's wedding. Then, a sister's wedding. And then it was finally HER wedding. She wanted to honor her mom as well as give her guests something that was truly special as their wedding favor. And from her Italian background, it was the love of cooking. Gianna and her family gave us some of their favorite recipes and we created a cookbook that each guest took home. Kathy at Front Porch Farms created a 'Recipe for Marriage' table for display. A perfect way to have her guests remember their wedding, share their love, and remember her mom. And, here at Designs in Paper, we love getting to create totally unique paper goods that totally represent you - whatever that is! Here's some shots of Gianna and Josh's wedding suite - top two shots taken by Wootton Photography and the remainder taken by Paul Wharton Photgraphy. Enjoy this delicious idea!

Whitney and Justin - Real Wedding

Whitney and Justin were married at the beginning of June with family traditions running throughout the ceremony and reception... check out the rest of the day here on Cedarwood's blog, but we wanted to share the program and the very special favor that we did for them. As a tribute to Justin's grandmother, a special recipe was made for their reception - and each guest got the recipe as a part of their thank you for being a part of the day. Thanks to Austin Gros for the photos! Enjoy!
