Spring, Speckled Eggs, Bunny and Watercolor

It's hard to believe that it's almost the end of March. March is that month that's very dynamic - from weather, life events and just general change in the world around me. Honestly, it has history of being THE big event month for me. LOTS of Big (wait, huge) things all have happened in March. Some have been great, some have been bad/sad/bittersweet, but they all have been BIG and life-changing. In the world of paper goods, it tends to be a really busy month - and this year's been no exception. So, in celebration of Spring, Easter and the dynamic March that is, here's some fabulousness featured on Wedding Chicks of the cutest speckled eggs, a bunny named Butterfinger and some really awesome watercolor paper goods... with the amazing styling of Firefly Events Nashville and captured perfectly by the uber-talented Jenna Henderson.

Harvest Inspired Shoot

While we love summer, it's definitely exciting to think of fall - cooler temps, crisp air, leaves changing (and football!)!! We've got a style shoot that's all about the harvest on the blog today... One of the vignettes designed by Cedarwood - we used shades of gray cardstock with white ink, gold foil and even our acrylic invitation for the paper goods. We're thrilled to see it featured on Rustic Wedding Chic! So, enjoy the incredible photos by Kristyn Hogan and check out all of the details both on Rustic Wedding Chic and Cedarwood's blog

Urban glam style shoot

Welcome to Nashville, Jewels Photography! A couple of months ago, Julie called and said that she was expanding her photography business to Nashville and wanted to know if we'd be interested in doing a style shoot with her... and we said yes! With an awesome team, the style shoot has been featured on The Westchester Wedding Planner and you're going to just love it... think urban, modern, sophisticated. Here's a few shots of the gold-foil paper goods we created - including the invitation suite, programs, menus, placecards, table numbers and some fun signs! Thanks Julie and if you're looking for a photographer in 2015, you've got a new option with Jewels Photography!

Black and Gold Inspiration

One of the coolest things we get to be a part of each year is the Cedarwood Style Show. There's so much opportunity to do amazingly awesome paper goods to add to their showcase of designs annually. One of the cool tablescapes this year was a Black and Gold inspiration for a Texas-Tennessee couple getting married this year. Linda, of Cedarwood, asked if we could create a logo that resembled a cattle brand along with the accompanying paper goods. From that, we created a cool logo and complete save the date and invitation suite using black thermography. We also did a pattern background for black-on-black texture look resembling an embossed leather look for the mat. We added a program, menu and placecards to complete the paper suite and we think you'll agree, it's awesome! Check out all of the details of the tablescape on Cedarwood's blog to really see how the design process worked! As always, it's amazing to see Kristyn Hogan's photography.
