Pantone's Spring 2021 Color Palette

I think it's safe to say that everyone's looking forward to 2021 after all that 2020 has become. Pantone has released their 2021 Spring Forecast full of bright, bold and happy colors for us to start dreaming of a new year. Here's the palette:

Pantone's 2019 Color of the Year

It's that time of year again when Pantone (THE color people) name a color for the upcoming year. For 2019, the color of the year is Living Coral... Here's some color combos that you might love...

2018 Color of the Year

You know it's officially December when the Color of the Year announcement happens... and it's today! The 2018 Pantone Color of the Year is Ultraviolet, a bright, bold purple. We've put together some color palette ideas for you who LOVE purple and those who would like a splash of it, but prefer other colors more. Enjoy!

Well, it's been months since we've posted - largely due to a busy 2017! For now, here's the 2018 Spring Colors from Pantone... a wide, wide mix of colors with the bottom row being the 'classics' that Pantone believes everyone will be using as the foundation for their trends for the year. 2017 Pantone Color of the Year

It's hard to believe it's that time again... where has 2016 gone? Today, Pantone announced it's 2017 Color of the Year and it's Greenery. It's a bright and fresh green that reminds us of a new sprout of grass, a spring day with a gentle breeze and so much more. Here's a few color combination ideas to get you started thinking of how you can use it to be totally on trend next year!

Happy first day of fall! It's hard to believe it could really be fall with a 92 degree temp today - here's hoping it's soon those fabulous fall days we've been dreaming of in Tennessee! With the arrival of fall, fashion and trend lookers are already thinking of next spring so Pantone has announced their 2017 spring color trends. We've done a litte graphic of spring instead of the standard swatches for a change of pace. If you're planning a wedding, redecorating or pretty much anything for the next few months, you'll see these colors popping up around you - especially once the holidays come and go. Pantone Spring 2016

Today's the first day of NYC Fashion Week and that means that color trend forecasting is all abound with Pantone releasing the top 10 colors for Spring 2016. So, without delay... here they are!

Pantone's Fall 2015 Colors

While I know we're all wishing for an early spring - and a beautiful, not-humid, not-too-hot summer, Pantone is thinking ahead to Fall. If you're planning a wedding this fall, Pantone's Fall Color Report is a great guide for colors that will on trend and in turn, in the stores. It's a first as well - both men's and women's colors are exactly the same... It's certainly looking as though metallics will be very popular this year - and most of the colors would be amazing with gold, pewter/silver or copper/rose gold, this year's sweetheart. So, plan on... here's the color chart!

It's Fashion Week in NYC and while we're just looking forward to SPRING, fashion is already looking into fall styles and one of our favorite parts of the week is the release of the Pantone Color Report that offers an insight into color trends upcoming. This year's colors are a great start if you're planning a fall wedding and just want something a little different than the usual colors you think of. We love the idea of using these colors with our *NEW* metallic foiling or white ink options for a really fresh look! So, dream away - it's only a few short (hopefully) weeks until spring!

2014 Color of the Year!

It's Here! THE Color People,Pantone, announced the 2014 Color of the Year today. Without delay... the 2014 Color of the Year is Radiant Orchid. Not really purple, not really pink. Orchid. Think of the shades of the flower. As you plan your wedding, fashion pieces, even your home decor - you'll start seeing this color available. I've created a few color inspirations below as well. It's almost time for Fashion Week in NYC - which means it's time for Pantone to unveil it's predictions for 2014 Spring Color Trends. If you're already thinking about next year for your wedding, these colors will be big on the runaway and in the stores, which equates to easy to find! From our work thus far, it's not surprising to see these colors, though we're certain that the wedding industry will continue to love blush and aburgerine. 2013 Color Trend : Fall Fashion Color Trends

It's Fashion Week in NYC and that means that there's a new release from THE color people, Pantone, for their trend predictions for fall. You say, ok, why's that something I might want to know? Well, if you're planning your wedding for the fall, redecorating your house or pretty much anything that might need color, you'll have an idea of what's going to be all over the place in just a few short months! With Emerald as the 2013 Color of the year, it will keep growing in popularity and there's a bit of 2012's color of the year in a richer, more fitting color for fall in the Koi. The other brights will be great to add that pop of color we all want - coupled with the foundational colors of grays and chocolates... So, when you pick up the next magazine, walk through the mall or whatever - be on the lookout - these colors will start showing up mid-summer.

Pantone announces the 2013 Color of the Year

It's that time of the year again when Pantone unveils it's Color of the Year for the following year... In the fall, the spring color forecast was released and I had posted about it... and predicted that it just might be a green for 2013! I had been watching news, etc. and everything was looking like it was going to be a navy blue and then, today... the announcement! (drum roll please...) 2013 Color of the year is Emerald!

So, get ready! It's gonna be good to be green (in the words of Kermit the Frog!) for 2013!

Spring 2013 - Color Trends by Pantone

It's Fashion Week in NYC and that means that Pantone (THE color people) have released their colors to watch for in Spring 2013. It's hard to think about spring colors when we're just starting fall wedding season, but if you're planning 2013 wedding for the spring and summer, it's a great time to have these colors to consider! (now, what color will the 2013 Color of the Year be??) My guess (and we'll just see if it's right...) is a shade of green.

Fall 2012 Pantone Color Trends

We're hardly getting into Summer and thinking of poolside, sun dresses, farm-fresh veggies and Fourth of July, but the Pantone color people are already thinking about fall and spring for color trends. This fall's color trends (as seen above) are a mix of unexpected colors - after all, you don't think of bright chartreuse as a fall color... but even today as I was looking outside I could see a tree that's already wishing for more water - and easily there were greens, browns, gold and orange all visible. The great thing about the brighter colors of this palette mean that the summer feeling (and great looks with a tan!) will be around in fashion for longer this year. Along with the brights of the palette, some great options for softer, muted colors will be present - meaning if you really want that blush and titanium wedding, you'll have lots of luck finding great rehearsal dinner clothes, etc. as you're out shopping in a few weeks. So, when you are escaping the heat and heading for the mall, think of this palette when the fall lines start arriving in a few weeks... they can't be far away, I noticed Hobby Lobby was putting Christmas decorations out this week!

2012 Fall Color Report

Today kicks off Fashion Week in NYC - and if you've read our blog for a while, you know that means that it's time for the Fall Color Report come out from PANTONE. As *the* color people, each spring and fall they release their predictions for hot colors of the season. In turn, those colors manifest themselves everywhere. As you'd expect, the 2012 Color of the Year, Tangerine Tango is right there amongst the colors as well as fabulous colors to coordinate with it... or if you're just not a tangerine kind of person, check out the other color combinations that we've already seen as really hot colors for the year. Titanium is fabulous with so many of the colors - imagine it with the yellow/gold, chartreuse or pink. Or in our previous blog of the day, the blush and titatium gray. Sooo romantic. For some really bright, happy summer moments, the chartreuse, hot pink and tangerine --- makes me want to have a picnic! Off we go to imagine incredibly cool paper goods with these colors!

Color Alert for 2012...

Pantone's latest news of the day... Black is back! After a couple of years of red being the 'new' black and then gray and then... well, you get the picture. 2012 is sure to be the year of BOLD. Tangerine Tango as the Color of the Year... The return of Black (without necessarily AC/DC in the background singing...) It's bold. Welcome to BOLD. and VIBRANT. 2012 Pantone colors from Fashion Week

It's Fall Fashion Week in New York City and with that, Pantone (THE color people) have released their 2012 spring colors - which we'll see popping up in all sorts of ways over the next year... So, here they are! After almost a week of rain in Tennessee, the colors, so bright and happy, make us smile. Can't you just see all the new fashions - wedding and non-wedding- that will start popping as the spring line up blooms!
