2010 Calendars are HERE!

DRUM ROLL, please! It's time to unveil the new 2010 calendar designs! YEAH! We are SO lovin' these designs! First off, we have our 9th edition of the 4x6 calendar available as both a refill and for newbies, with a cool black or silver frame. And, for the first time, two new sizes of calendars - the mini and the card size. The mini is a 3.5 inch square calendar, comes in its own display case. Then, there's the cutest, cutest version --- the card size! It's a perfect size for the desk or space that you simply can't find room for a 'big' calendar. It's about the size of a business card, comes in its own display case as well... and well, you're gonna want these for everyone you know as a little gift! We KNOW it's ONLY September, but just think, that means from now it is just a little over 100 days until Christmas. (not that we mean to stress you out!). Check 'em out... order them on our website... and love 'em for all of 2010!

Wedding 101

In case you haven't heard (which we cannot even imagine!), Middle Tennessee has a new, exciting, way cool idea for brides. Wedding 101, a bridal resource boutique, opened on August 15th in Franklin at the Factory. You say, ok, why is it cool? Check out just some of the photos above of the Preview Party (we had the pleasure of doing the paper goods for the event )! In a fabulous space that's so inviting, you can browse vendor displays, check out their portfolios, shop, see our cool paper wedding dress that we blogged about last fall, and just hang out. Concentrate on what you really need to get done to get your list under control. (and as a shameless marketing plug, if you aren't sure what the list IS - they have our cool bridal countdown calendar there for sale :) ). Amy and Ashley are there, willing to help answer questions, etc. if you need them - or just let you browse and think and plan and dream. (and they have diet coke as well if you are so inclined!) They have LOADS of things planned to make brides planning a fun, not-so-wacky experience... so go check them out - online at wedding101.net and then GO to the boutique. It is seriously awesome.

And in case you are wondering, we took their logo and graphics and incorporated them into their invitations, a cool sign for just outside their space, a couple of different stickers for the preview and bride bags, and this cool name tag/lanyard with a cool bead. Sweet!

Cooooool Custom Cake Toppers by Us!

So, you've looked everywhere for 'the' cake topper that will just make your cake the one of your dreams. You've been online and played with the fonts, the bling, debated metal vs. plastic, and so on. You really love this font/monogram/image, etc. but it's simply not to be found for your cake. OR even worse, you find it and it is outrageously expensive. What's a bride to do? :) Well, until a few weeks ago, settled for next best option. Now, imagine - your monogram from your invitations on your cake... Thanks to a gentle nudge from Courtney at A Magical Affair we're now doing them! They're made of paper (but its magically stacked paper so it is strong and will stand up) and we can bling them up so they are fabulously stunning. Just like your dreams.

Here's a couple we've done recently for weddings and then one we did this weekend for Gaylord Opryland Resort for the Food Network's Southern Food and Wine Festival.
And... shameless marketing plug - don't forget we can do all of the paper goods with the same design as well as confetti, stickers, anything you can dream of for paper! :)
